Day 14,

It Hurt so Good,

*****

We can grow our spirit every day of our existence. Did you know that? We can take any experience and re-create a new us in it. The experience of pain can evolve into positive energy that grows our spiritual being. Darkness has light in it, darkness exist because of light. Stop cursing it, embrace change.

When pain comes, some immediately seek to curse and blame. Their energy becomes consume with why. This takes the spirit into the realm of incrimination, accountability.  All situations of life has our DNA in it, the “Who we are gene,” I like to call it.

Joyful and painful experiences give the same opportunity to discover ourselves. Unfortunately, we believe joyful experiences are our best teachers, and we look for those exclusively. A closer examination will uncover they’re both equal in helping us grow.

Pain Disappear

*****

Painful experiences seem to hang around longer then joyful ones, yes. We relive hurtful events for years, waking each day with residues. We evolve into cursing present dark moments, unable to find any positive energy in them.

Life becomes an anticipated circle of pain. Living stagnant, just waiting for the bad news to drop. Waiting to pronounce how you’ve been victimized again, your spirit not evolving, you’re stuck.

Light in Darkness

*****

Take a moment, realize how you process bad news, are you frighten, anxious, shrinking. You have a choice to decide how this news will grow you. Handle positive it returns you back to your natural spiritual self, one of strength, calm, patient. Let no one convince you pain comes from the outside, pain is created with thoughts.

The moment you realize who you are, your world will explode. Who you are can not be defined by situations, they only bring light to your nature. You have the power to choose freely to embrace, joy or pain.  Every situation present this opportunity.

Are you positive or negatively charged? Unfortunately, if you’re in pain, only you can save yourself. You are your Savior, believe it or not. The power to your happiness, your decisions.

Discover and grow spiritually, emotionally.

This is beautiful! I have never known a day so dark as not to have held at least three blessings.

You have to look closely but they exist as you say.

In my mind’s eye, we have no choice re growing each day. In fact, every millisecond we’re alive, we grow. We process new information, sensations and experiences. The trick is to grow outward, not inward.

We grow outward by embracing the idea that we are part of the universal whole. Unfortunately, pain often causes us to grow inward because it provides a sense (it’s not real) that we can somehow ward off future pain.

And let’s face it. Pain is a far better teacher than happiness. Pain causes us to challenge our preconceived formulations and to try to figure out why we hurt. Happiness, on the other hand, often leads to complacency.

For me, the best place to be is between these two — contentment.
