A exploration of spiritual stillness, 30 day fast of reading, studying and practicing the 26th verse of Tao Te Ching. (Living Calmly) The month long spiritual exercise in accepting and being gracious for what lies ahead.  Being a avid hack writer, I’ll post 30 days consecutively, thoughts on “Being Content.” Poems, exercises, take-home assignments, etc.

Day 15, The Tongue Burnth

what we speak

condemn we must

cover the sun with

thy mouth

are we not yet safe

force of division

what we speak

shall we halt

judgment piercing

damnation desiring

god fearing speech

we become

what we speak

our destiny

lies within

what we detest

we become hate

are we not yet safe

Your spirit which lives under sound says what? Are you constantly finding fault with others? To live a life of constant judgments is torture, a twenty-four hour vigil of comments and rebukes. Unable to sit without thoughts of condemnation.

A keeper of man’s behaviors becomes hate, it self-fulfilling. For surely you’ve resurrected the knowledge of good and evil. You decide what behaviors receives reward and which becomes eternally dammed. If your tongue doesn’t move with hate occasionally, your heart pounds silently with it.

Witness spirits that are always perturb, do they not keep judgment flowing from their lips? Never accepting what is? Wanting everything to be different?

Remove yourself quickly from such company, for their energy is negatively charged. Blessed them and wish them well, but they worship separation and condemnation. Its a spirit which they falsely believe comes from God.
