Monday’s Poem: Numb by Will J. Hobbs

“Eyes wide open with my mind wide shut. Heart still beating with the blood flow ceased. Arms outstretched but my hands can’t feel. In the midst of a storm stark naked begging for the refreshing coolness of the rain the ease the burning of my ignorance. Pouring the water on my tongue hoping that it will quench this insatiable thirst to feel what so many others seem to experience.

Staring glazed over into a mirror hoping to become enlightened in my own self worth and existence. Searching for my way around a dark room feeling nothing but hoping to find a way out. Peeling away at my own flesh hoping to develop a new layer of sensation. Unaware of the concept of pain and incapable of understanding the affection of emotion.

Eyes wide open with my mind wide shut. Heart still beating but the blood flow has ceased. Arms outstretched but my hands can’t feel.

I am numb…”

How to Save your life.

“To help one transform their consciousness, you must possess steadfast love and sympathy and a deep level of wisdom. To do this, first surrender everything you have learned, and then, walk quietly, with humility allowing your unspoken tranquility to be their light.”

Don’t Wait on a Blessing.

450298_3da6Get rid of the notion that your blessing is on the way.  Time does not exist in our supreme state. Waiting on a blessing may become spiritual oppression. Therefore, the awaken person realize, they are the blessing they seek.

To advance in the stages of spiritual development, one must believe in their eternal existence. After all, what would a perfect being wish? All desires are fantasies of the unaware spirit. Without question, the journey to the inner-self is the purpose, not collection of temporary items or egotistical satisfaction.

Stop Chasing Illusions

Accordingly, the mind’s obsession creates the thirst of chronic non-satisfaction. This thought process, fuels the ideal that God must provide more. Some become obsessed with the ideal of acquisitions. May I suggest, after all, what do we really desire? The first sign one has adopted the world is the fear of “it’s not enough.”

Regrettably, in man’s concept, God provides with conditions. Some receive things, some do not, fatefully this flawed perception fuels ego, covertness, and greed. When one believes there may not be enough, it stands to reason; they may only look out for number one. Sadly, this spirit is bind to the temporary world and may seek self-gratification in all their endeavors.133593889_ef409b37e0

Walk Your Path

To release oneself from this regrettable concept, the conscious being must detach from idealism. From the boondocks, where one chase daily unrealistic quests for fulfillment. This is the first step.

The mind-body exist only in a temporary state, it will decease to exist one day. For this reason, the destruction of identification with it must occur.

You are not your mind-body; unequivocally, we are more than muscle and bone. Furthermore, the journey to self-awareness naturally destroys the mind-body identification. As one goes inward, outward concepts begin to dissipate, the voyage slowly strips idiocy. Awaken from the bondage of fear, we establish a steady and concrete realization of our true nature.

What we formerly desired and chased, (e.g., recognition, control, acquisition, greed) become distant illusions. Surprisingly, the journey becomes the goal.  This solitary flight outside the flesh is the miracle. Which makes you the blessing.

Where is Your Kingdom of God?

My self-realization remains a mystery too unbelievable to conceive. A short glimpse in my past reveals a stream of mental agitations rightly suited for a psychopath. I occupied for years a n egotistical infected mind.

Fortunes, fame, and acquisitions propelled my existence. I failed immeasurable amounts of times in my self-created illusionist world. I desired an external definition of self. I was a perfectly insane.

“The ultimate truth is so simple. It is nothing more than being in the pristine state. That is all that needs to be said.” Ramana Maharishi

A Stormy Sea

The chase nearly achieved its hidden-purpose my self-destruction. My obsessed mind of endless attachments and constant thinking positioned my exit many times. Fortunately, my path to spiritual awareness existed through this portal, this burnt out life. Remarkably and thankfully, my spiritual restoration would take place on earth.  Again, thank God.

“The kingdom of God will not come if you watch for it. Nor will anyone be able to say, ‘It is here’ or ‘It is there.’ For the kingdom of God is within you.” Jesus

417266_11ddI never will prescribed to the acceptance of a God mediator.  I desire to find the God in me of my own accord.  I do not want interpretation of my salvation.  The world’s religions saturated with angry Gods, restricted diets, forbidden wearing of clothing creates more confusion than harmony.

I AM…?

And so, I sought a definition to “I AM” without declaring obedience to man’s interpretation of God. This road a lonely stretch of self-inquiry where no exist to interpret the language and sounds of God.  I love it this way.  I am guaranteed to find my source inside me.

To pull someone out of the mud, you must first step into the mud yourself.” Hasidic Master Israel Baal Shem Tov

If the source of God is within me, I must go into the mud and bring myself to the light.

Tao Te Ching Verse 7

The Master is available to all people

and doesn’t reject anyone.

She is ready to use all situations

and doesn’t waste anything.

This is called embodying the light.

What is a good man but a bad man’s teacher?

What is a bad man but a good man’s job?

If you don’t understand this, you will get lost,

however intelligent you are.

It is the great secret.

Dragon will talk later about Kingdom.

Tao, Verse 21 Acceptance

Accept yourself and find love,

Remain a stranger, fear.

Tao, Verse 21

The Tao leads those who
follow to harmony…
Absent of physical shape
or worth is the Way,
It holds all inside it, but remains
formless and unrecognizable.
The Tao removes no objects
from the Masters’ path.
Why is it a mystery?
The Way never changes.
Senses do not comprehend
her duties, being the source
of all of natural.
How do I know the end
in the beginning?
I look inside myself.
