Thinking isn’t Good for You
There are no commandments to obey or mantras to recite, to find one’s true being. To know yourself, look no further than at one’s heart. In the heart, the true nature without tarnish remains changeless. For this reason, all external procedures to self are inheritably false. These antiquated routines are concepts of men.
Did you know, our source in silence and stillness reveals our true nature? Without rehearsal or scripted jargon, it speaks softly to us. Unfortunately, if one has a busy mind, its energy will quickly be attached to a mental object. The mental concept that falsely believes the source must have a name, shape, or emotions will now create our bondage.
The Trap
Sadly, and inconsolably, we suffer from mental percepts that chain us to fear and expectations. Moreover, the steadfast vigil to uphold our false spiritual comprehension develops a feverish appetite for proof. Consequently, this delusion to prove what one falsely believes consumes life. Amazingly, our passion becomes our captor.
To find yourself, unlearn everything you have been taught. As a matter of reference, do not attempt to learn anything, for all knowledge is a concept of the mind. ‘Being,’ is to be ignorant, inside this negation one truly understand their identity. It is better to walk a thousand miles blind to self, than to take one-step with to a false image.

Nuh-uh. I am totally not buying this. Our true natures can and do evolve — even an untarnished heart may expand. Even a busy mind can hear its source in the silence and stillness — perhaps the mind’s cogs whirl based on what the source reveals to us in that silence. And assigning a name or shape to the source doesn’t change it’s nature — especially when the name or shape is fluid. C’mon — if I call you a turtle does that change you? No — regardless of what I decide to call you, you remain a human being.
It may be that if we “do not attempt to learn anything” we’ll get stuck in the old black/white, right/wrong thinking and we’ll allow no room for both/and thinking — the concept that two or more things (ideas, concepts, thoughts, feelings) can coexist in harmony. Unfortunate, hmmm?
Thanks for the comment Juju; I see your depth in your response. You mentioned how our true nature may evolves; which leads me to this question, do the changeless evolve? Our false image that believes we need to evolve is guided by our mental concepts. If the mind can describe it, whatever it is–it is an illusion.
The mind is not real; it is a part of the temporary moment. Ever subject, object, or concept we experience is created by the mind. Without intervention, its process will lead you farther away from the shapeless, unnameable, and indescribable self. This disconnection creates our pain, with our excessive thoughts of the illusionist mind our memories and expectations drives our fears and anxiety.
For instance, awaken or sometimes in dreams, our memory run the videos of our mental conceptions (e.g., birth, death, sickness, disease, war, peace, love, happiness) continuous. However, in deep sleep, our memory does not exist; this brief moment reconnects us to our true nature. Amazingly, however, some practice this moment while awake, they empty their mind of memories, desires and expectations and gain their freedom. Without knowledge, without thoughts perfect stillness exist, an indescribable encounter.
What we vision on the big screen of our memories, desires and future expectations is not real. We existed before the mind. We are nothing, yet nothing exists without us.
